This class is based upon the Washington State Learning standards in reading, writing, speaking and listening, and language. In this class, students will examine, analyze, reflect, interpret, and respond to various aspects of literature as they continue to strengthen their reading, writing, and communication skills. The overall purpose of the class is to prepare students to start developing the essential skills that will allow them to be career and college ready.
