After enjoying a solid educational experience at Aberdeen's Weatherwax High School in 1982, I attended Grays Harbor C.C. for a year, transferred to Eastern Washington University on a Track & Field Scholarship and then finally made the move to Washington State University where I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in 1989. I spent my first six years of teaching in Industrial classes in Ocean Shores (a small B school) and was then hired here in Sequim in 1994 where I have spent the last fourteen years serving as an educator & coach.
